The Cagemaster

By harnessing the versatility of the most common form of lifting equipment - the fork lift truck - at working platform attachment is the ideal solution to the need for occasional access for working at height.

Designed and constructed to exacting engineering and safety standards, the Cagemaster platform system is integrated with that of a fork lift truck.

This integration, when the truck is switched to platform mode, allows the truck driver only a restricted range of truck operations, and then only the consent of the platform operator.

The Cagemaster system is already in regular use with some of the UK's leading manufacturing, warehousing and distribution companies.

Controls Primary operator controls require both hands and are located to the rear of the platform. Second operator deadman buttons are optional.	Gate lock A proximity switch verifies that the self closing gate has closed. The gate is mechanically locked via the drop wheel when the cage is lifted.
Drop wheel A drop wheel activates the gate lock when the platform is lifted. Castor wheels are fitted to the base of the working platform and allow easy movement by hand when the unit is not fitted to the truck.	Self closing gate The gate is fitted with a strong closing spring that ensures that the gate is automatically closed after entry by the operator.
Heel lock Interlocked heel locks are operated by a lever inside the platform locking the platform of the truck forks. The heel locks are adjustable to suit a wide range of forks.	Tilt indicator & harness point A tilt indicator will give visual notice if the platform floor does not remain substantially horizontal. The harness point, fitted as standard, allows the optional use of a safety harness.
One/two man keyswitch A key switch gives the flexibility of one or two man operation of the platform when suitably specified.
