Sideshifts
SIDESHIFTERS are the most common additional attachment encountered on forklift trucks. The sideshifter allows lateral shift of the load, taking the truck capacity into account, of +/- 100 up to +/- 160 mm. In special execution the so called container sideshifter (see following page) is available which allows a wider side shift (Possible restrictions in the capacity set by the truck manufacturer should be taken into account). Due to the wide distribution of the sideshifter as an attachment, it is increasingly supplied for integrating into the mast i.e. replacing the fork carriage.SIDESHIFTERS are the most common additional attachment encountered on forklift trucks.
